This file contains a total of one LANGUAGE SELF-TEST for a preschool child of AGE 3-4. This Kindergarten Review Test (KRT) is designed to evaluate the most basic skills in the language development of a child. Please use it for placement purpose only and to guide you in determining which materials should be most appropriate for the child to work with.

The test in this file is intended to be used as an assessment SELF-TEST. This means that this test may be given twice: first as a pre-test in order to determine the strong and weak areas of the child. Later on, when the student has had the time to practice and work at one’s own pace, the same test can be given as a post-test in order to observe how much progress the student has made.
